Edinburgh - Redford Barracks, Dreghorn Barracks, Glencorse Barracks & Craigiehall Camp

Dreghorn Barracks is home of the 1st Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland (The Royal Scots Borderers). Facilities at Dreghorn Barracks include a Swimming Pool, Gym, ALC Satellite Room, Caledonian Community Centre which hosts Youth Clubs, Mums and Tots and Coffee Mornings. It can also be hired out for private functions. A Mini Bus is also available for hire

Redford Barracks
Redford Infantry Barracks houses The 3rd Battalion The Rifles. 52 Brigade are located within Redford Calvary Barracks and Edinburgh Castle. Facilities at Redford Barracks include a Gym, Climbing Wall, All Weather Football Pitch, Army Education Centre and the Army Learning Centre.The Dental, Medical and Rehabilitation Centres are also situated at Redford

Glencorse Barracks is home to the 2 Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, (Royal Highland Fusiliers). It is located 8 miles outside Edinburgh and the nearest town is Penicuik. The barracks are located a 10 minute walk from the SFA at Milton Bridge.  Facilities within Glencorse Barracks include a gym and an Army Learning Centre (ALC) and Scots Corner hosts the HIVE, youth clubs, Jelly Tots, Minikickers, a mini gym, internet facility to name a few. The mobile library provided by Midlothian Council is situated outside Scots Corner.

Craigiehall Camp is situated approximately 5 miles from the centre of Edinburgh and is home to Headquarters 2nd Division. The camp itself is set amongst delightful grounds and stunning countryside near the village of Kirkliston which is 2 miles away.

Edinburgh itself is a beautiful city with many tourist attractions including the Castle and Holyrood Palace, theatres, restaurants and shops.  Every August the city plays host to the Edinburgh Fringe and Tatoo.
